Please contact the City of Miramar at 954-602-HELP (4357) with any questions. Please be advised that credit card companies asses a fee to the City whenever payment is made by credit/debit. This fee is charged as a percentage of your total payment. Transactions will be fully processed by the end of the next business day. Because of this additional expense, Florida law allows the City to charge customers a convenience fee to offset this additional expense. Therefore, if you use credit/debit to pay your bill, you will be charged a Credit Processing fee of 2.95%. All Credit Processing fees are paid to the third party company the City uses to process card transactions and are non-refundable. The City of Miramar does not keep any portion of the Credit Processing fee and this amount will never exceed the amount assessed by the credit card companies. To avoid the Credit Processing fee, you may pay by check, money order, cash (in person only) and electronic check (withdrawn directly from your bank account).
